A schedule gives you a pre-negotiated 5-year contract to sell to any federal agency at the rates you negotiated. How it works

How we handle GSA Schedule, end-to-end.

The GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) is the federal government's largest contracting vehicle: more than 12,000 contractors holding schedules, $50B+ in annual spending.

1

Category selection

We map your services to the right MAS Large Category and Subcategories. There are 12 Large Categories (IT, Professional Services, Office Management, Furniture, etc.) and 80+ Subcategories. The right selection determines your pricing model and competitive landscape.

2

Pricing strategy

GSA requires you to offer the federal government your 'best customer' pricing. We build the pricing strategy: starting commercial rates, identifying the best customer, calculating the GSA discount, and preparing the Commercial Sales Practices disclosure.

3

Financial review

GSA reviews your last 24 months of financial statements to confirm financial responsibility. We coordinate the review with your CPA or bookkeeper and prepare the required Financial Responsibility Memorandum.

4

Narrative + submission

We write the technical narrative, past-performance summaries, and corporate experience descriptions. We submit through GSA's eOffer system and respond to contracting officer questions throughout the review.

FAQ

About the GSA Schedule Preparation Service.

What is a GSA Schedule?
GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) is a 5-year federal contracting vehicle with three optional 5-year extensions (20-year max). Once awarded, you can sell your services to any federal agency at the rates and terms in your MAS contract. The largest federal contracting vehicle by spending.
How long does GSA Schedule take?
6-9 months typical, from kickoff to award. Application takes 2-3 months to prepare. GSA review takes 4-6 months. Most timelines are determined by the GSA contracting officer queue, not the applicant.
What is best-customer pricing?
GSA requires you to offer the government pricing at least as favorable as your best commercial customer. The 'best customer' is determined by an analysis of your commercial pricing across all your customers. Wrong identification is the #1 audit issue and can void your MAS.
What is the Industrial Funding Fee (IFF)?
A 0.75% fee added to GSA Schedule sales. Collected by you from the buyer, then remitted to GSA quarterly. Required quarterly reporting through the Sales Reporting Portal even if you had zero sales that quarter.
Can I sell to non-federal customers under GSA?
GSA pricing is for federal buyers (and state and local governments via GSA Cooperative Purchasing). For commercial customers, use your commercial pricing. Many contractors use the GSA Schedule as the federal channel and maintain separate commercial channels.
What happens if I do not get past-performance experience?
GSA can still award MAS without specific past-performance, but most successful applications include at least 2-3 commercial projects similar in scope to what you want to sell to federal buyers. We work with what you have and write the narrative to maximize what is there.
